writing Narrative text

The purpose of Narrative text is to amuse or entertain the readers. sometimes it can be deal with actual/imaginative experiences in different ways.here we are going to do exercises on group of five to complete this narrative story. before you complete this story, you have to use this following details as a guide to complete your story.

What happened?	What happened to your character ( the person in the car )?
When and where was it done?	Where did this occur?in the car?outside the car?far away from the car
Who did it?	Was it a man, woman, ghost, or an animal
How did he or she do it?	Specifically, what steps did the person take to accomplish the major action in the story?
Why did he or she do it?	What was the reason that this event took place

Work in group of five to continue the following story

I shouldn't have turned off the highway while driving alone at night. but my best friend john told me that this was the fastest way home. a few minutes ago it had started raining, and now it was coming down so hard that i could hardly see the bumpy gravel road ahead of me. the highway was very dark and quiet. there were no others cars except me and my 1972 Ford Pinto trying to reach home as fast as i could.

All of sudden there was a sharp streak of lightning that spread out like a large tree branch. a deafening burst of thunder followed it.

then my car broke down. my heart was pounding quickly. beads of clammy sweat rolled down my neck back. "now what am i going to do ?"! i though.

i got out of the car to walk for help. i was getting scared. i didn't really know for sure where i was. i began to feel terrified.
